Feeling Sad: Just a quick one from me…

I know I was supposed to announce the winner today of the Graham and Brown competition but I can’t bring myself to write a celebratory post…

We had to put our kitty Senna down today and Wayne and I are both hurting a bit so I hope you understand if I save the announcement.

We loved you so much Senna Ben and not having you in our home with us feels so horribly wrong.Β  You were completely bonkers and endlessly entertaining and we loved you and all your little funny idiosyncrasies so very much.Β  We already miss you terribly.

Rest in peace, beautiful girl.

    I have never lost a pet before and don&#39;t look forward to the day when my old girls aren&#39;t with me any more. The likely first to go is cuddling with me right now on the sofa. Hugs to you from across the pond. We will miss Senna on the blog, too!

    Oh no! I tried to tweet you (turns out there is another @redilocks so she got my condolences instead it seems…) but sorry to hear about your Kitty. With a name like Senna she must have lead a wonderful life. You&#39;ll miss her but know she&#39;ll be more comfortable now. I&#39;ll never forget the day I watched my dog and a number of horses get put down – they are your best friends sometimes :)

    I had two cats that I grew up with since I was 5 years old. One was with us for 18 years, the other 20. Not a day goes by that I don&#39;t miss them or think of them and even now, 2 years on, I have days when I miss them so much. Some people may not understand, but they were like my brothers and you grieve for them as you would a human life. One of the hardest things was how silent the house was

    Sending you a big virtual hug. It is such sad news and such a difficult decision to make. I am so sad for you. I have lost many adored cats over the years and I know they are much loved family members that leave a huge hole in their passing. RIP Senna.
