So as I revealed on Sunday, I was asked by West Elm to do a little coffee table styling for their blog, Front and Main (whoop!)! I love my new marble coffee table but the tips and examples shown can really be used on any coffee table, whether it’s a couple of inexpensive Lack tables from Ikea or a vintage find or something you’ve saved ages to buy.
I shared three different looks – One Large Tray, The Book Stack and The Stack Tray Combo, all just using bits and pieces around my home in different combinations.
I thought I’d share a couple of the ‘out-takes’ with you here but please do go over and check it out!
Go and check the whole feature on Front and Main here!
So tell me… how do you style your coffee table? Do you bother at all or do you like to create vignettes? How often do you change the look? What’s your favourite coffee table book? I just got this one and it’s lush! Do tell, I love hearing your take! The comment box awaits…
I'm in dire need of some new coffee table books, do tell. And congrats on being on West Elm my friend! Off to read it now!
Oh I'm a coffee table book hoarder!! Gypsy is lush though, so many beautiful colour palettes, highly recommend :) xx
Beautiful suggestions! I'm always looking for ways to jazz up my coffee table. Also where oh where did you get your glass pineapple jar thing?
Thank you! It's from Zara Home :) http://www.zarahome.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/zarahomegb/en/zarahomegb/806076/3331092/Decorative%2BPineapple%2BJar
I love your looks :) I don't style our coffee table at all because, slobs that we are, we eat our dinner off it! We have a perfectly good dining table in the room next door too…. Such heathens. xxx
Haha! And people question why we have a TV in the dining room – for that exact reason (no eating whilst on the velvet sofa!! lol) xxx
Hell yea girl! Helllllll yea to that table! It's my fav! That is so fun that WestElm asked you to get a lil creative, you did a great job! I love your pineapple jar. I'm actually showing some pics of it at one of my clients today! I wish I could fit 10 books on to one table I love em so much.
Rah!! Thank you so much! I love that little jar as well and I've got piles of books EVERYWHERE. Can't have too many. ;) xx
TV in the dinning room is such a good idea. I'm not sure why I never thought of that solution.
Well, it saves us from eating off our laps and it means we actually USE the dining room ;) It definitely works for us! ;) xx
Kimberley, your blog is such an inspiration and like food and water for my thirsty soul. Pure beauty ! Thank you for sharing!
