Oh I’m so happy that #colorshare is back!! My transatlantic style sister, Shannon from Burlap and Lace and I took a little break in December with all the chaos of the holidays but the new year is back and that means we get to celebrate all the colour in your lives that you’ve been sharing with us over on Instagram.

If you aren’t familiar with this, each month we both have the very difficult task of choosing our favourite Instagram images that have used the hashtag and share them with you on our blogs! There have been some amazing ones this month so without delay, here are just a few of the ones that I adored…

First up, Nichol’s stunning dining room. You may think I’m biased here because I have the same rug (okay, maybe a little) but I adore how this one shot of colour in an otherwise beautiful neutral room lifts the whole space. Beautiful!

Next, a little heads up how my brain works: If you include a cute furry animal in your picture, I’m probably going to go a bit nuts over it. What a gorgeous headboard in Jullian’s pic and an even more gorgeous kitty.

I’ve always loved images on Instagram that capture a little slice of life and Kelsey’s picture with her adorable son just got me right in the feels. Loving the paintings as well on the wall!

Blue and white ceramics just never go out of style! Stephanie’s collection is as gorgeous as her styling.

To say I have a blue and white obsession may be an understatement. ? What can I say, I love it. It matches almost any color, can be paired with any metallic accents, and boy does it look great as a collection. I couldn’t fit any more of my collection on the buffet table, but it’s okay since there is enough going on in this vignette. What kind of items do you like to collect?
