My dearest friends, it has been 9 days since my last post.  Please forgive me.  Look I’m on my knees and everything.  Ok, and I’m sticking out my lower lip.  It always worked for me as a kid – what do you mean that doesn’t work now that I’m in my 30’s??  Geez, tough crowd.

Anyway…. I have had the week off from work and while i would love to say that I’ve been gallivanting around the globe, I have actually stayed in from the dropping temperatures of the autumn bluster and have been incredibly lazy.  Long lie-ins, catching up on films and Mad Men, having friends around, home baked bread with lashings of butter and lots of cups of tea.  Oh and alcohol.  Yeah there’s been a bit of that as well.  Because ya know, it’s a holiday and it has to be done.

It’s been bloody brilliant.

I have a few little projects going at the moment which I will be sharing with you but in the meantime, I thought I’d share some tunage from Friendly Fires which perfectly encapsulates my mood!  Turn it up!!!
