I’ve become ever so slightly obsessed with finding the perfect blush pink chair for my office. And possibly for my living room. Or anywhere else in the house I can get away with one. I have scoured the internet, even creating a Pinterest board to keep track of my obsession. I know full well it’s a trend. Blush pink won’t be the darling of the interiors world forever. But still, there’s just something so wonderfully light and lovely and soft about the colour and how well it works with a myriad of styles and colours.
I’ve been keeping an eye on various store-bought ones although I’m also considering recovering a vintage or second-hand chair if I find the right style at the right price. But it doesn’t stop me looking for inspiration and dreaming of having a blush pink chair of my very own. So today, I thought I’d do a really quick post rounding up some of my favourites that I’ve spotted along the way.Β
One – Roar & Rabbit Swivel Chair from West Elm
This one for me is the perfect colour and style. It’s elegant without being showy and the brass legs are sexy AF. The only problem? Not available on West Elm’s UK site which makes me very very sad. The colour is perfect as well – it almost moves into the nudes rather than blush pink colour and I think it has more staying power than those of the rosier variety.
Two – Julius Chair from Open Plan Living
Probably my favourite of them all. I adore the brass detail and the velvet fabric – the whole thing screams ‘luxe’. Although so does the price tag. At over Β£1800, this is a bit too rich for my blood. Sigh.
Three – Frame Chair from Made.com
At Β£599, this is still a little on the pricey side but the shape of the chair is stunning and it’s small footprint means I could probably squeeze it easily into my teeny tiny living room. A definite contender.
Four – Linen Kimball Chair from Anthropologie
Again, only available on the US website (sigh) but I included it because not only does it have a beautiful soft shape, it kind of makes me want to sink into it and stay awhile.
Five – Metal Frame Upholstered Chair from West Elm
Happily this is available on the UK site and at around Β£700, it’s not impossibly expensive. I love the colour, the brass detail and more modern shape which I think even Wayne would appreciate. I’m planning a trip to West Elm’s store in London in a few weeks’ time so hoping to see it in person.
Six – Lula Chair from Fern & Grey
At Β£289, this is the most affordable of the bunch. The classic cocktail shape, it’s very retro inspired and it’s petite shape means it can move from living room to office to bedroom with ease. I kind of wish it didn’t have the contrast welting – if it didn’t, it’d be perfectly suited but the pale blue is throwing me off a little.
Seven – Chips Cocktail Chair from Florrie & Bill
I had to include this one just for fun because I’m rather enamoured by the terrazzo-inspired print. I mean, if you are going to go trendy, why not go all the way? The 50’s inspired shape is sweet and at Β£599, definitely more affordable than some of my other choices.
So of all my choices, three and five are the ones I’m most seriously considering. Any favourites of the ones I’ve chosen? Are you obsessed with blush pink too right now?Β
Oh, two and six – love at first sight…twice!!! Clearly, I don’t have a type!
They are all so good! I don’t think I’ll ever tire of a blush chair ;) The site looks great too, friend! xo
Oo such a good round up. I’ve been eyeing that one from Made (maybe for our living room?) for a while … so pretty!
I’ve been wanting the one from made.com for Aaagggeeesss! I saw someone post an almost identical one in their local TJ Maxx for…. $150!!! I almost died and went to heaven!
I am dreaming of a blush chair β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ
When I saw your Β£50 made voucher I actually laughed and said to myself “If that was me I’d be buying that chair!” Haha!
Say yes to Number 5.
sorry I don’t know they all look good. but I cam see number 2 in your office it would be perfect. xxx
It sounds like you haven’t found your favourite one yet… which is great because maybe will get to see a new project of yours :)
Number 3 has my vote. Loving them all though. Seduced by this pink colour even though it’s not normally my hue!! π
I found no.2 and no.4 are lovely.
I’ve had my eye on the West Elm chair forever!
