I just wanted to pop by to say I’m going to be taking a little break (just a week!) from the blog. Obviously, my blog is super important to me and IΒ hate to go so long without posting but with friends coming to stay mid-week and another set of friends staying this weekend, I’ve been on overdrive just trying to get prepared. We’ve been racing to get the Man Cave (which I’ve recently decided to rebrandΒ The Glam Cave – catchy, right??) as finished as possible as it will be used as a makeshift guest bedroom this weekend and of course, cleaning like a lunatic – as you do.
A little sneak peek at progress… Still waiting on some frames to hang those Star Wars printsΒ and the sofa needsΒ cushions and a throw but it’s coming along…
So rather than put pressure on myself to work on the cellar plus get everything prepped and ready for guests, plus get my client writing work completed, plus post regularly on the blog and of course, spend time with my guests, something has to give! Ack!
I’ll be back in a week to introduce you to a new brand I’ve recently come across who I know you’ll love but in the meantime, you can always keep up with me on Twitter or on Instagram.
See you in a week!
Love that plant holder!
I’m glad you’ve got your priorities right – those weekend guests sound very VERY important!!! :D xx
Hope you are having a good time. Chill and relax, sounds good to me xxx
What a gorgeous aesthetic! I think it’s very brave to have such dark furnishings but they work so well, and really bring out the light features such as the clock and the bronze elements. Not only are dark colours a sign of quality in a home, but they’re a sign of bravery on the part of the homeowner, too. Kudos to you, the room looks great!
