I was so excited to read all your comments on the Man Cave to Glam Cave revealΒ last week! I’m so happy so many of you seemed to like it. It really is for me, the perfect blend of my style with Wayne’s. While Wayne loves our home and doesn’t really complain too much about how I’ve decorated in (in fact, he is rather proud of our home which is lovely really), it was nice to design a space that we both felt entirely comfortable, knowing it reflects us both.
As it’s been SUCH a long time since I filmed a video, I figured I’d take the opportunity to show you around. You’re actually going to be seeing a part of my home that I haveΒ NEVER EVER SHOWED on the blog before (*gasp!*) as I’m showing you where the cellar is accessed from the main part of the house! You may be surprisedΒ ;)
Ready for a little tour? Go on then.
I also wanted to share a full source list of all the different elements of the space. I even found some pretty cool Star Wars posters for those of you who fell in love with ours! They aren’t exactly the same but have a very similar sort of style. Everything else I’ve been able to source either from where I purchased them myself or products that were very similar.
All the links are at the bottom so if I’ve missed anything, do let me know and I’ll do my best to help you out!

I’d love to know what you think of the video! Were you surprised where the man cave was located?Β
As always, you’ve done a brilliant job, Kimberly! Love the video and the Glam Cave! When you come to sell, it will be like having an extra reception room – a real asset!
Ahh thanks lovely! That’s certainly what we’re hoping for – fingers crossed ;) xx
Beautiful – It looks so cosy down there! :)
Great idea to do a video tour!! The room is just so amazing – it’s such an asset to your house. Going dark was a brilliant idea – it’s just a cocoon of glamour!!! That sideboard as well – without doubt that was a worthwhile purchase! Excited to see where it ends up in the new house! xx
Aww thank you my dear! That sideboard will definitely getting pride of place somewhere!! lol xx
Wow! It looks fabulous! great video, you really get the full glamness and cosiness of the room and can I say how stylish your princess leia hair looks!! Love it all :) x
Aww cheers Hellie! And thank you! I figured they were appropriate for a subtlety Star Wars room! Hahaha! xx
It’s such as fabulous space! You really knocked this out! I love every single bit of it
Thank you so much lovely! xxx
You’re photo’s always look brilliant, when you do a video it brings what you have done to new levels. The Glam Cave looks unbelievable, as dose Quito. I agree with Hellie I love your hair xxx
Aww cheers lovely – of course one of my pets had to bomb the filming! Haha! Thank you, figured it was appropriate considering the Star Wars theme going on there lol xxx
You are so so good and need your own TV show!!!
Hahaha!! Awwwww thank you my dear!!! Now if someone wants to give me one, I’d be well up for that LOL! xx
really interesting to see a video to make a change from just photos. Downside for you I guess is that you have to tidy everything up rather than just put the mess out of shot!
LOL!! To be honest, I’m *pretty* tidy in ‘real life’ – you’ll notice I didn’t bother tidying up the dining room, there’s all kinds of crap around lol That’s pretty much real life what you see ;) xx
What a great idea…….When we built our house in Switzerland 25 years ago we were obliged by law to construct an atomic shelter in the basement. Don’t know what to do with it now, so thanks Kimberley, going to copy your den if you don’t mind.
I love the way you have used every inch of space. I admire anyone who can visualize and turn a closet into a place for beauty and relaxation. Everyone loves adventure, expectation, and mystery. Thank you for your inspiration.
It is like a secret room since you have to get to it from the closet, how fun! Teenage me definitely would have claimed it as my place to get away and be angsty π€£ Great job on the video, really gives a sense of the space!
