You do not need to adjust your monitor. I’m just messing around a little bit with the design of my blog and for a complete and utter amateur like myself, it’s a bit like feeling around in the dark.
I did actually win a complete blog makeover recently. I know this sounds terribly exciting (and very excited I was) but despite around 40+ emails between myself and the designers over the course of 3 months explaining the direction I wanted, the style I was looking for, pinterest/mood boards, examples of blog designs and layouts I liked, etc etc… well, we just couldn’t seem to make things work. I just don’t think my style and their style were a good match and they kept trying to push me into a direction I didn’t feel comfortable going. And so, remaining on good terms with the team, I’ve had to let the prize go. Sigh.
At the end of the day, this is my blog… and I know it’s just a blog but still… it’s MINE. And I’m kinda attached. And even if something is free, it doesn’t mean that it’s right, ya know?
However, this doesn’t mean that I don’t want some serious zhushing around these parts. So please just bear with me as I try to figure out how to make changes to Blogger’s templates without breaking the entire internet. I have not discounted this possibility so far.
In the meantime, look! A BUNNY CHAIR! I just saw this on Honestly… WTF and I about died.

Aw, that sucks – to win such a great price and then things don't work out, sorry to hear… I really know what you mean about wanting to keep your blog completely yours and I wouldn't want to compromise on that either. That is a fab chair! We didn't have computers when I was at school, so I'm very cautious about fiddling about with things – I really am likely to break the entire internet.

I'm liking the new design. It's funky, yet classy. I have plans for a redesign too, but I need a professional to make me a logo. I have something in mind, but need a graphic artist to create it. I also have been considering adding ads, but haven't researched it much. And I wonder why some people move to WordPress and others don't, so I want to research that too. Can't get on
